OnePractice October Updates

We're excited to announce the release of OnePractice version 4.6.2, aimed to provide a better end user experience with greater functionality and the ability handle the new SharePoint features.

Template Manager

New features

  • Enhanced performance and reduced reload times – great for clients that have more than 2000 of their own clients

  • Updates to handle new SharePoint features

  • Ability to use multiple template manager instances in multiple document centers in the same browser

  • Change skin in settings

  • Either “OnePractice” (default) or “ConnectedPractice” (only to be used for CA Kairos customers)

  • OP_AllowAmpersands - Historically SharePoint did not allow ampersands ('&') in URLS so ampersands in client names were replaced with 'and' to create folders. Now SharePoint allows '&', you can set to True or False in settings

  • Please note, you should not turn this feature on for existing customers as it will create duplicate folders

  • New settings in HubOne Common App Settings list:

  • PopulateClientMetatadataField – populates new metadata column “Client” with client name against all saved documents – if not exists is created and set to True as default

  • PopulateGroupMetadataField – populates new metadata column “ClientGroup” with Group name against all saved documents – if not exists is created and set to True as default

Bug Fixes

  • Excel templates – custom dialog fields of type “Number” now translate to numeric cells in Excel

  • Secondary template fields working <<ClientPostalAddress|ClientAddress|No Data>>

New features

  • New settings in HubOne Common App Settings list:

Bug Fixes

  • Metadata choice fields displaying correctly

  • When the client is auto-selected, the subfolders button appears without having to reselect client

  • Attachments with the same name as existing items in a client's folder are now renamed instead of overwriting existing

Using Templates

New features

  • Custom dialog fields enabled (same as Template Manager)

Bug Fixes

  • UI bug when no drafts are found in Drafts folder
